The Foundation has supported the East Brunswick Library on multiple occasions such as:
Donating both a self-checkout and ATM machine to the Library.
Providing private funding for programs that instill a framework for ongoing revenue sources for the Library. For example, the Foundation funded the Business Resource Center and the “Just for the Health of It” program partnering with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital to provide residents with the access to a certified medical research librarian to assist and promote health literacy. This program has received national recognition.
Hosting an evening of Roots and Wings, a fundraising event honoring award winning author/illustrator Brian Selznick.
Selznick, a native of East Brunswick, spoke of attending the public school system, utilizing the Library, and his journey of being an author that took him to having his story produced as a movie by Martin Scorsese.
Most recently, celebrating the East Brunswick Public Library's 50th Anniversary with a special author program featuring New York Times bestseller Stephanie Evanovich.
