The East Brunswick Public Library Foundation will receive the net profits from the 40th Annual East Brunswick Road Races on Oct. 15, 2017.

“The Foundation is thrilled to be the designated charity for the road races, which is a wonderful community event,” said Foundation President, Tracy Fink.

The road races, which will take place at the Community Arts Building at 721 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick, are held in conjunction with the Raritan Valley Road Runners and feature kids dashes, a one-mile fun run/walk, a 5k run/walk and a 10K race.

All participants in the one-mile fun run/walk receive a medal. Children participating in the kids dashes receive a ribbon and a pumpkin to paint. Swag bags and T-shirts will be given to 5K/10K entrants while supplies last. After the races, there will be refreshments, face painting, kids’ games and entertainment.
